A veteran aerospace professional, Barry brings over 25 years’ experience as a pilot and licensed aircraft technician for both airplanes and helicopters, operating at the highest technical levels. Barry has spent most of his career working as an Airline Captain for various airlines, with over 22,000 hours of logged flight time, with his last assignment flying Boeing 747 aircraft globally – mainly in support of US military operations. Barry possesses key expertise in several areas of flight operations and management working as a Flight Instructor, Chief Pilot, Director of Operations and has led other successful and non-aviation ventures in the areas of health information systems, electronic payment systems and digital media.

Three-star Lt General Brooks Bash (Ret.) served as Vice Commander of the Air Mobility Command for the U.S. Air Force. During his tenure, General Bash managed a fleet of over 1,160 aircraft, provided transportation of Presidential and senior leadership from 12 major U.S. air installations to nearly 100 locations worldwide and directed more than 118,000 active-duty Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Airmen to achieve each national mission. A decorated and celebrated military veteran, General Bash earned the Bronze Star award and began his military career as a 1981 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He was an operational commander at the squadron group, wing and task force levels. General Bash also served as the Deputy Executive Secretary for the National Security Council in the Executive Office of the President under the Clinton and George W. Bush Administrations. Prior to those assignments, he served as the Director for Logistics, The Joint Staff.  He also served as the Pacific Air Forces Vice Commander, and in 2011 deployed as the Pacific Command Air Component Coordination Element during Operation Tomodachi supporting the Japanese earthquake, tsunami and nuclear radiation relief efforts throughout South Asia as well as Operation Southern Watch, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Unified Assistance.

Major General Jami C. Shawley is the Commander of the 81st Readiness Division located on Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina, and the Senior Commander of Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. The 81st Readiness Division has responsibility for base operations for Army Reserve units throughout the southeastern United States and Puerto Rico, and is responsible for ensuring units and Soldiers are prepared to deploy and fight in multi-domain operations and meet current and future Combatant Commander Force requirements. Major General Jami Shawley was commissioned as an Army Aviation Second Lieutenant through the United States Military Academy in 1992.  She began her career flying AH-1 helicopters in the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea and served at company, battalion and brigade level staff positions in the 3d Infantry Division, Savannah, Georgia.

Keck started his career at Atlantic Air/Business Express Airlines as its first Director of Training growing the airline from five aircraft and 35 pilots to over sixty-five aircraft and over six hundred pilots, helping to merge several airlines during a twelve-year growth spurt of its airline. Keck holds a BS degree in Air Commerce/Flight Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology where he also served as an instructor/check pilot. In his forty years of aviation experience he has been involved in the development stages of operations in several Part 135/121 airlines. Throughout his aviation career, he has held leadership positions of Line Check Pilot, Ground Instructor, Simulator Instructor, Air Crew Program Manager (APD), Director of Training throughout his career.

David started his aviation back in the early 70’s, went on to graduate with a BS in Aviation Management from Texas A & M University. He then went on to become a flight instructor in the spring of 1978 and then began his flying career shortly thereafter. David has over thirty years of professional aviator experience in worldwide large, cargo and passenger aircraft operations. Throughout his career, he has held positions of Flight Instructor, Ground Instructor, Standards Captain, SIM and Line Check Airmen and Aircrew Program Designee (APD).

After serving in the United States Marine Corps, David went on to attend East Carolina University; graduating Magna Cum Laude in the early 80’s. Post-graduation, he went on to begin his aviation career. Throughout his thirty-eight-year career, he has held positions of Check Airmen, Ground and SIM Instructor, Program Manager, Flight Safety Manager and once again overseeing Crew Members as their Chief Pilot.

Rashan began his aviation career back in the early 2000’s within the Crew Training Department. Eager to learn and immerse himself in the world of aviation, he then moved into Flight Operations. Working within the Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning, and Flight Following departments he was able to obtain experience from all angles of the airline industry. Throughout his aviation career, he assisted several airlines in growing their fleet as well as their pilot bases. He managed daily schedules, initial, recurrent, upgrade and transition training, qualifications, and currency for all crew members across multiple fleet types. In addition, he also managed pilot payroll for several years. He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in theology and Business Management and is currently enrolled in Aircraft Dispatcher Training.

Part 107, ISSA Certified Trainer, AED and CPR, NATA Certified, Aircraft Dispatcher (2022)

Thomas is a former United States Air Force Journeyman who had a keen eye for fixing aircraft. Coming out of the Air Force, he attended Teterboro School of Aeronautics where he earned his Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) license in the early 2000’s. Once Thomas obtained his A&P, he then went on to hold positions ranging from a Line Maintenance (MX) Mechanic, Part 145 MX Manager and Part 135 Director of MX. He comes to A.D with 21 years of knowledge and experience in various settings, including owning and operating his own Part 145 Operation.

Airframe experience includes:

Hawker 700/800/800XP, Challenger 600/601, Falcon 50, Beechjet 400A, Citation II/III/V, King Air 90/100 and 200 series, Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper and Cirrus airframes.
